Cannot get rid of Photoshop CS3 beta

I was at the iMUG meeting (http://www.imug.com.au/) last night presenting Adobe CS3 Photoshop. During the break, a member came to me and told me he had problem installing Photoshop CS3. Reason was he had previously installed the PS CS3 public beta on his Mac (of course, it was the Apple users group meeting). Later he removed the PS CS3 beta by simply trashing the application. Big mistake. Since then he tried unsuccessfully with the CS3 Cleanscript that Adobe put at the support page.
