No Flash support in iPhone?

According to a report from cnet, the Safari browser within iPhone will not support Flash (and Java for that matter). While I didn’t expect iPhone to be able to run standalone Flash Lite application, the fact that the iPhone won’t be able to browse a Flash site is a big disappointment. I wonder what it is like when user visits a web site with flash content. Soon we would find out.

  1. one of the ads – that with NY Times shows that it display’s the Flash video on the NY Times index page. Maybe it’s a fake, but who knows.
